Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Fash is built on rivalry — the louder the banter, the better. These guidelines define where banter ends and abuse begins, what happens when lines are crossed, and how to report problems. They are part of our Terms of Service.

1. The Spirit of Fash

Rival clubs, live bragging rights, and debate are the point of this app. Trash-talk the result, the tactics, the referee — go for it. Attack the opinion, never the person. Every fan of every club should be able to enjoy matchday here.

2. What's Not Allowed

  • Hate speech & slurs — racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, religious hatred, ableism, or attacks on any protected characteristic. Zero tolerance.
  • Threats & violence — threats of harm, glorifying violence, or encouraging self-harm.
  • Harassment — targeted abuse of a user, pile-ons, or following someone across threads to berate them.
  • Doxxing & privacy violations — sharing anyone's private information, photos, or location.
  • Tragedy abuse — mocking deaths, disasters, or tragedies connected to any club or community.
  • Spam & scams — advertising, crypto/betting promotions, phishing, or repeated flooding.
  • Piracy — links or instructions for illegal match streams.
  • Manipulation — bots, multi-accounts, or coordinated voting to rig polls, ratings, or rivalry results.
  • Illegal or explicit content — anything unlawful, or sexual content involving or targeting anyone.

3. Matchday & Live Chat Rules

Live rooms move fast, but the same rules apply. Deliberately spoiling results for fans watching on delay is poor form — use common courtesy. Watch party hosts are expected to keep their rooms within these guidelines; rooms that become abusive may be shut down.

4. How We Moderate

Moderation combines automated AI screening (posts and debate replies are checked before publishing) with human review of reports and flagged content. Automated blocks can be appealed — see below.

Enforcement steps, depending on severity and history:

  • Content removal (hidden posts, replies, or chat messages)
  • Warning with a note on your account
  • Temporary suspension (24 hours to 30 days)
  • Permanent ban for severe or repeated violations

5. Reporting & Appeals

Use the report option on any post, reply, or profile. Reports are reviewed by moderators, and we act on the majority within 48 hours. Abuse of the reporting tool (false or mass reporting) is itself a violation.

Think we got it wrong? Email legal@fash.app with the content and context. A human reviews every appeal.

6. Points, Glory & Fair Play

Points, fan levels, and club dominance exist to reward genuine participation. Gaining them through automation, spam, or coordination gets them stripped and may cost your account. Win your bragging rights honestly — that's what makes them worth having.
