Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Fash uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. This policy explains what we use and how to control it.

1. What We Use

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Fash also uses browser local storage, which works similarly but stays on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Strictly Necessary (Always On)

  • Authentication session — keeps you signed in between visits (local storage / cookie set by our auth provider).
  • Security tokens — protect forms and requests from forgery attacks.
  • Load balancing — infrastructure cookies that route your request to a healthy server.

3. Preferences (Functional)

  • UI preferences — remembered settings such as theme and onboarding completion.
  • Notification choices — which alerts you opted into or muted.

4. Analytics (Optional)

If enabled, we use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics to understand which features are used and where errors occur. This data is not used to build advertising profiles and is not shared with ad networks. You can decline analytics without affecting any feature.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Signing in with Google may set cookies from Google's domain as part of their sign-in flow; these are governed by Google's own policies. Embedded content (if any) from third parties may also set cookies.

6. Managing Cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may prevent login from working. Most browsers let you review stored data per site — look for "Site settings" or "Privacy" in your browser's settings menu.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the date above shows the latest revision. Questions: legal@fash.app.
